Eng Hooi, I have something to say. I've done the '5 Weird Things About Me' meme before. But since you asked, I'll try to cough up another 5 more. Lol.
Here goes:
1. I bruise extremely easily. How easily? Make me kneel on my knees for 20mins and you'll see 2 big bruises just under my kneecaps the next day. And I keep getting new bruises, and have ABSOLUTELY no idea how I got them. I end up looking like some poor victim of parental/spousal (by YOU, muahahaha) abuse.
2. I'm not sure if other people feel this way, but I've been told I can look VERY different, just based on the way I dress and comb my hair. Tying it up in a ponytail, plus t-shirt and jeans makes me look underaged. I mean, doing so makes people think I'm 15-16 years old. Wearing work clothes, parting my hair a little to the left and leaving it down makes insurance agents approach me (having 18 year old clients is almost non-existent here). Wearing specs, plus no parting, plus fringe combed down = student look, another underaged look. Lol. Specs-less, hair down with a small parting = different look (as commented by at least 2 people, one of whom got slightly freaked out when he saw the photo hahaha). Just the other day, YOU caught me in a Jap-lookalike moment. Maybe it's not a weird thing, but it seems I can do it a little too easily.
3. For all the times I love to insult men and curse at them, my best friend from primary school is ironically..a MALE. Sheesh. Yes, no matter how much I hate men, I seem to relate quite well to some of them. Girls, on the other hand, appear very bitchy to me. Most of them anyway. Is it a wonder then that I have few friends?
4. When I was a kid, I took up so many lessons I think it cost my parents a bomb. BUT, I've never completed any of them or saw them through right to the very end. Examples? I took piano lessons for 3 years (from 3/4 to 7 years old), taekwondo for another 2 years or so (till the yellow belt, at least that was 2 exams!!). abacus for 2-3 years (went for another 2-3 exams), hanyu pinyin/chinese speech and drama lessons in school for 3 years.
5. I was always a water person. I've never freaked out in the water before. Not when I didn't know how to swim and found myself alone in a crowded pool in a public swimming complex and not when I had leg cramps during swimming. I love the water. I hate heights. And I can swim a whole lot better than I can run.

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
