hi, i am YOU.
phoe requested me to, so i will.

after catching "chronicles of narnia: the which, the lion and the wardrobe", we had a little chat while making our way back. so i'll take the opportunity to give a review about the movie before she does, since her room is still in need for one more coat of paint and thus causing her computer to be still dissassembled.

i'll try not to include any spoilers until the end, so bear with me if i spoiled it for you. :p

a book by c.s.lewis back in the 50s? for children. so don't expect an elaborated plot
. the story is simple, 4 children stumble across a magical wardrobe that is actually a portal to the magical land of narnia, which is currently under the dictatorship of the (evil) white witch.

the children learns that there's a prophesy that when 2 sons of adam and 2 daughters of eve(namely them) enters narnia, the tide will change and the war against the white witch for the opposing forces. a nice battle scene ensures. and of course, the forces of good will win and they all lived happily ever after. well, at less till the next adventure.

--- spoilers ahead ---

as already known to plenty, the first book has a heavy influence of the story of jesus, mainly him being betrayed, and later resurrected.
the script ain't word for word for the book, but it pretty much did tell the story as it should be, so i won't nit-pick on the smaller details.
i found the part where edmund reconcile with the other 3 siblings to be rather heart-warming. the battle scene wasn't half as bad too, yeah.. guys like such stuff. :p
the best parts about this film in my opinion is the soundtrack and the picture.

i give it outta a grand total of 5, 3.5 nacho chips with extra chips.

Location: Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
