*give yourself a deep PAPER CUT situated under your fingernail *get the date of your scholarship interview MIXED UP (it's on Tuesday, NOT TOMORROW) *have already applied for leave for Monday, NOT TUESDAY
And now, I have to go back to work tomorrow with my tail between my legs (metaphorically speaking), explain the mix-up (on my part) to my boss and TRY to re-apply for leave, this time from Tues to Thurs, just because A*STAR is running this group activity on Wednesday. At least it gives me an excuse to quit if she doesn't want to approve my request!
I'm actually semi-relieved that the interview's on Tuesday, mainly because it gives me more time to prepare.
Anyway, I've received an offer from NTU to read Biological Sciences. The catch is, I have to reply by the 5th of June and NUS may not even be close to offering a place by then. And then we wonder, why is one university so much faster than the other? To modify the now-infamous line used during a recent exchange with LKY on tv, is NUS arrogant? Lol.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. Lol.
Of course it could be that NUS is receiving a lot more applications than NTU. That I will never know.
Out of the 3 local universities, 2 have already started offering places and the largest, most well-establised and sought-after one isn't?
Sigh, today is essay writing day, so I guess it's time to start preparing for it. By that, I mean getting my stationery together. Lol.
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
