This is the first and probably the last time I am blogging using this particular laptop.
Yes, I purchased my very first laptop (well, my parents bought it for me if that makes things clearer). See, the problem is that the laptop screen flickers and blinks. Yes, BLINKS. It’s been blinking and flashing since Sunday when I bought it and then suddenly, it stops. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not saying that the problem is over. I have these weird vertical lines running down the screen whenever the laptop boots and sometimes, this extents to the laptop not being able to boot at all. And because I’ve obviously been given a faulty laptop, I will be getting it replaced this coming Friday. So while I still can, I shall try to do my very first blog entry on my very first laptop since technically speaking, the one I will get on Friday will be my second.
Ok, since last week what has happened… basically life has gotten a lot more hectic than I could care for. I had not one, but two practical sessions last week which has resulted in me rushing 2 lab reports out this week, of which I have ONLY completed the first and the 2nd one is still a good 60% away from completion. Because I will be meeting my group mate tomorrow to settle the 40% done lab report, I will be jumping right back into the lab report immediately after I’m done typing this entry (actually, my typing speed on this new laptop is starting to amaze me. I don’t normally adjust this quickly to a new keyboard). I had my first continual assessment ever since I stepped into university today. Admittedly, the questions weren’t exactly challenging, to be honest, it was EASY PEASY, the problem is… I had no idea how to explain the concepts and ended up resorting to lots of pictures and diagrams. So even though the paper is really quite easy, I’m still a little (ok, very) scared that I’ll do badly. I hate this feeling.
Anyway the other reason I’m here is to boast (lol) about how truly great, noble, self-sacrificing and sweet my darling (the boyfriend) is. Today was the 2nd time he picked me up from school and even though he left the workplace at 4pm, he actually wandered around for a good 3 hours waiting for me to finish lessons at 7pm. It’s almost like whenever my dad can’t pick me up from school when I end late, my sweet darling would do it, without a single complain. Now find a boyfriend who would do that. And he’s doing it again tomorrow. So to YOU, thank you!
Ok, I’ve been on there long enough, time for me to continue with my work! Unbelievable, the screen didn’t even blink once while I was typing this!!! Labels: School |
