I have to leave for school in another 25minutes and I haven't packed my bag, nor have I gotten ready for school. I spent the previous night tweaking my lab report (in advance). I hope to finish it today (on the same day I complete the entire experiment) and I hope to still find time to complete my genetics tutorial as well as to study for my biochemistry and general physiology tests next week.
Wishful thinking indeed.
On the slightly brighter side, it seems that the genetics lecturer has kicked all his assistants out of helping us in practicals as they were rather inept at what they were supposed to do. Can you imagine them redrawing an entire genetic diagram when all they needed to do to correct an error which the students spotted was to erase one letter and replace it with another? Speaks volume about how much they know what they're doing. I wasn't even half as bad in secondary school, and that was some 4 years back.
I don't understand what's being written in my biochemistry textbook because there is seriously way too much information in it and I'm only taking an introductory module. I dislike the lecturer because his lecture notes seriously suck. So for now, I'm only trying to digest what is in it (not to mention I absolutely abhor the way the book is written by the author). I wonder if Campbell and Reece will suffice.... Campbell and Reece has officially become my best friend for biology-related modules, especially biochemistry and general physiology. People should just take a leave out of their writing style. Clear, concise and perfectly understandable.
Ok, I need to go off now. Time to stuff that lab coat into my bag.
