The ceiling fan/lights in my room has officially DIED. As in when I turn on the switch, nothing happens. I pull and jerk at the 2 strings that's meant to manually control the light/fan function, NOTHING happens. I use the remote control, and NOTHING (again) happens. I try a combination of all of the above and still NOTHING HAPPENS.

Couple that to the fact that the weather has been mercilessly hot, humid and erratic, I'm suffering. And I'm using the computer at 7.28pm with only a table lamp for a light source. I AM NOT KIDDING. This is pathetic. I hope the issue here is the lights/fan being erratic and temperamental for a day, I CANNOT survive w/o proper lights. I have resorted to replugging in all my table lamps (which makes me thankful I hoard lamps) and have practically "stolen" the living room's stand fan (which was in effect, originally meant for my room anyway since mine is the only room w/o a functioning air conditioner).

And how does this NOT help? It doesn't help that I'm on my 3 month long vacation break, have decided to read to pass the time and to work my brain for leisure which hasn't happened in a really long time and now I don't even have a decent light source meant for reading!!! And then when night falls, the ability to use the computer dips by at least 70%. What really doesn't help that I just found a new writer whose writing style is right for me (although the content is a little of a surprise but heck, the writing style fits which hardly EVER happens) and now I can only read when there's sunlight!!!!!!

Damn it!

Location: Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
