In the words of my boyfriend,
Tuesday is Weirdo Day, Friday is Pentel Day.
After my weird escapade of Tuesday, while waiting for a couple of junior college friends so we could have lunch today, some random lady walked to me, handed a Pentel yellow highlighter to me and then walked away. o.O
What made it even more ironical is the fact that I JUST bought highlighters to replenish my diminishing stock on erm well, Tuesday. Would have been so much better if she gave me a pen 'cause I'm running low on those too. Yes, 2 weeks into the new Academic Year and my highlighters have given out, and my newly bought pens (I bought them just before term started) are already half depleted. The university is going through pens like they're free.
Any weirder/stranger, and someone could write a sitcom based on my life, especially the Tuesday afternoon bits of it.
Anyway I received some invitation from ****bank in the mail yesterday to apply for their 'coveted Management Associate Program'. Wow, cool. Except, why would they been sending this to a Science student? Wouldn't students from the School of Business be more suited for their industry? Plus they addressed the card to 'Dear Graduating Student', but I'm not graduating yet! Not for another 2 years. Money sounds good though, but with the sub-prime mortgage issue in the US, you really ought to think twice before accepting something from that company. Well if I get it again next year, I might consider, depending on how sick of the lab I am by this time next year (and if the sub-prime thing improves by then).
