Today marks the 2nd time in a row (and the 2nd time in the entire freaking year) that i skipped BOTH my S paper lectures. Heh, im gonna have to do some major explaining if i pop up for the next S paper lectures (which will be in 2 weeks' time). Really dread school now, with the absurd number of tests we're taking.
Tomorrow's the chem bonding test. So today, i revised my lecture notes, tutorials and looked through the tys questions. Not much, i know, but i hope that it'll do. Still gotta study for bio later. I was supposed to start studying a whole lot earlier, but somehow, i fell asleep (and woke up only at 5.30pm).
Had PE today, we ran 2.6-2.7km. I clocked in at 17:35. Ouch. Hope i pass for the actual napfa, although i'm thinking since i take a ridiculously long time for my last few rounds (like erm 3 mins per round), maybe i'll shave off 1min15 secs from my timing? Heh. I wish, but i think not, since running on the school track has the effect of tiring people out a lot faster and making us run like sloths (if they do run).
Heard that not all year 2 classes are down for the pathetic GP mock exam on wednesday. Seriously, what's the use of calling it an exam when not everyone's taking it? Why can't we do it during tutorials? It is a complete waste of our time, making us stay back on wednesday just to do this pathetic test. The GP dept should seriously grow up and get a life. We've got better things to do, like study for Thursday's bio RDE and MCQ test (speaking of which, the tutors still owe us 2 weeks' of mcq tests which we did and havent gotten back yet).
My parents received a letter from my form teacger (or CT, the equivalent of form teacher in jc). Her words?
With the release of the June Common Test results, I will like to take this opportunity to update you with your daughter, Phoebe's overal performance. I am pleased to inform you that Phoebe has been consistently producing good results throughout her college years. Her discipline and diligence are indeed commendable.
Aside from her academic performance, Phoebe is an independent and self motivated (missing hyphen =P) learner. She is also a very responsible Biology subject representative and definitely a pleasure to teach. I believe that she will be able to excel in her A-Level Examinations given her clear focus and consistent effort.
I think my form teacher seriously doesn't know me. Firstly, my results have been sliding =( and i'm not exactly a very disciplined person. I just freak out easily when it comes to results, which also means, i'm not very diligent! Sigh, so many people telling me not to drop my S papers, it seems i can't find a single person who supports my somewhat of a decision to drop, although there's 2 classmates who are half here, half there.
I just checked up the meaning of diligent. It means "Marked by persevering, painstaking effort." Diligence is painful huh? No wonder i'm in excruciating pain then =P Sorry, that was me being lame. Lol. Ok, i gotta run... just had dinner and now it's back to studying. Bio this time =S
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
