I'm stuck at home, during the Lunar New Year, all because some superstitious uncle of mine told my superstitious mother and uncles that the first 2 days of the new year are inauspicious days to go visiting. So now I am stuck at home. Who's ever heard of an inauspicious Lunar New Year!!?!?!?!
And my family, my dysfunctional family, cannot make their minds up over something as simple as what time to leave for my mother's birthday dinner. For days she insisted it to be at 6pm, and this morning she tells me "we're leaving at 4pm". Days like this makes me want to shove clocks up their individual recta.
Tomorrow's the last of the public holidays for the Lunar New Year and then it's back to work. I can go back to work, absolutely convinced I had another bad Lunar New Year. Lunar New Year without the visiting, the visitors, where you stay at home 24-7. What kind of Lunar New Year is that? A crappy one, that is.
My sims game seems to be buggy. Can't seem to complete teaching the toddler how to walk. The bar fills up about 1/3 and then restarts from the bottom again. Argh. Will try again later. And hope that it works.
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
