I'm back, after a semi-long day.

The essay test went well, for my safety, I reckon I shouldn't release the question, lest I be sued for one reason or another. What I can say though, is that the standard is slightly above that of General Paper's, which is now called Knowledge and Inquiry I think. In other words, it was challenging, the topic was mind-boggling and it basically required applicants to squeeze out a General Paper essay in 45mins (normally, we're given 90mins).

Hence the moment I saw the question, collected SOME of my thoughts and started putting pen to paper, instead of my usual (and advocated) practice of planning (mind map, anyone?). However, it is undeniable that my standard of English has deteriorated. I spent time pondering whether a word such a "tactful-nesss" existed (I eventually changed my sentence structure to use the word "tact" instead) and whether it was fine to write "I think it fine to *insert remainder of sentence*" which I eventually wrote in the essay. In other words, leaving school makes people stupid. It's not just National Service, it's entering the workforce as well. At the rate I'm going, I am going to have to settle for a Science degree. Not that it's bad, I love Science.

I bought a new blouse from G2000 just for the interviews. How unbelievable is that? Right now, I hope to ace the interviews and boost my chances of entering medical school. My chances are slim, but what the heck, what harm can there be in trying?

The month of May is approaching, I'm glad it's nearing May, mainly because it means I'm about to see out my contract. 2 more months of work and that's it! I wouldn't mind if they terminated my contract now though.

Went to some park near the National University of Singapore as well as Mount Faber last night. It was nice, the view was spectacular. Of course, you are looking at someone who is easily fascinated by lights. Hence, what else could you expect me to do when faced with the glory of city lights while standing atop on two of the highest places in Singapore. I didn't take a photo of the view from the park near the university, but I do have one taken at Mount Faber =)

I will stop now, my eyes are struggling to stay open. 3 interviews and one psychometric assessment coming up. I will need all the luck I can muster. *Gulp*

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
