Unbelieavable! The exchange of the definitely damanged laptop has been delayed by an entire week! I can't exchange this one that's faulty for a new one till next Wednesday, and judging from my timetable, that means I can't get it till next Friday! Damn the late shipment!
The university has been screwing up aplenty as well. Every student has one organic chemistry tutorial and practical every 2 weeks. That gives the lecturers 2 weeks to plan their tutorial questions and they decide to ONLY release the questions 3 days before the new cycle starts, leaving students who have tutorials on the first day of the cycle 3 days to complete the tutorial while the others gets close to a week, some even 2. Where is the fairness in that? I was looking forward to a slightly less hectic weekend after rushing out and submitting 2 laboratory reports this week (of which I'm not even sure if it's good enough because my organic chemistry report is actually rather short, as compared to those of others). Now I have to spend my time rushing out one organic chemistry tutorial, getting ready for my general physiology tutorial, trying to finish my book for the book report, completing my freshman seminar assignment and trying to understand what went on in the biochemistry lecture this week. Where is my break? I was so looking forward to spending at least one afternoon playing some games and now I'm stuck printing handouts and fretting as I look at the pile of work that all rushed in the last day or so. ARGH. How inefficient can a university get?
Ok, I don't exactly have time on my side now
3 days to do an organic chemistry tutorial 5 days to prepare for a physiology tutorial 10 days to submit a genetics lab report 12 days to submit a book report and presentation
University life? Way overrated if you asked me. Waaaaay, waaaaay overrated. Labels: School |
