I spent the last 30mins wikipedia-ing everything on siRNAs, Dicer and miRNAs.
All I really, really, really wanted to know was "Does dicer really have helicase acticity? Because if it does, wouldn't it unwind the dsRNA while it's trying to form siRNA which happens to be ds? I mean, yea.. so what if it's an RNase III?"
Molecular Biology is so kicking my ass!!!
P.S. ds= double stranded
