TAF..
Another one of my nonsensical entries, so gear up people (geez, look at the time, i should be in bed or studying...pfft..)

Read in the papers today (headlines) abt TAF being a possible factor in young girls in Singapore developing eating disorders. Well, about time someone brought that out! Ok, so i am biased against the programme, after all, i stayed rooted in it for 8 years. Yes, you read/heard right, EIGHT YEARS. I was kept there, first for being too short (which happens to be a friendlier way to say that you're slightly overweight) in P1 and 2, then for being obese and overweight from then on till i was in sec 2. So yes, the damn programme ruined 8 years of my recesses and break time. Not that it actually works, because from what i know, people who do get out, get out because they want to (or by some stroke of luck, like me, since my metabolism accelerated as i grew older). TAF never did help anyone i know lose weight, not significantly. About the eating disorder part, i'm a lil sceptical, mainly because in my 8 years there, i havent seen anyone get out of TAF within a few months, most people never get out (wheee... think about it, i could have been one of those 60kg fatsos{im short, really} around now had my metabolism stayed constant). Unless there are people out there who are really, really bad at eating disorders. Fancy starving yourself and not losing weight. Lol, ok, not exactly funny but i reckon you get the picture.

6.25pm:

Back from school, and boy was today a rather horrid day. Firstly, i woke up today, aching all over (i need a massage, so anyone????) from yesterday's PE. Then i had an econs test, which was pretty darn hard. I didnt complete the question and my answers were well...questionable. GP was extraordinarily BORING, i feel my interest waning and my attention span shortening. PE... we played tennis (and no, william, no tennis skirts.. =P cheeky fella). THat's a summary of my day in school, nothing significant, except for the econs lecture test. One more lecture test for the rest of the TERM (i wish it were YEAR) on thursday, and im 21 pages into my first set of notes (LOOOOOONG way to go). Although i do suspect that there will be an econs drq and mcq test tomorrow (i did the ENTIRE chapter of mcqs on international trade in school today..phew), which means, another day of torture tomorrow. Tonight will be quite a nightmare, i gotta complete my bio tutorial, chem spa skill A practice, and study for the bio test on thursday. At least there aint math tomorrow. But there's College Clean Up, which i dont appreciate, considering that I've already completed my Core CIP hours for the year (i just need my other 76hours for the year, or make that 36-46 hours). I dont want to stay back in school just to clean the classrooms because i find it absolutely meaningless.

Oh yes, before i ramble on and on, let's talk abt Survivor! For once, the person i like won! Yay, go Tom! He deserved the million bucks. And Ian, that was horrible of you to backstab Tom in that way. I'm pretty impressed with the way Tom played the game, he stuck to his alliances and never faltered (save it for Greg). Plus, he was above-board most of the time. It's people like this who deserve to win, not someone like Ian who wouldnt think twice about turning on the people who trust him just to advance. Although you gave up a spot in the final 2 to salvage some of Tom and Katie's respect, what you did is unforgiveable. Moreover, i do think that Tom would have been able to outlast you on that buoy anyway. Another thing i don't get; Colby's animosity towards the alpha male, Tom. Throughout tribal council. he was rolling his eyes at everything Tom said. Needless to say, he voted for Katie (another backstabber in the game, esp with all her all-girls alliance and vote-off-the-guys talk). I can't believe how Katie can call riding on the coat tails of Tom and Ian a strategy. Sure, strategy it may be, but still, she didnt have to be such a bum in camp. I believe Survivor should be about the survival of the fittest. Outwit, outplay, outlast--> survival of the fittest (kinda reminds me of darwinism). In this game, Tom encompasses at least 2 of that, outplay and outlast. Outwite, maybe not so, since he almost got played around by Ian (no thanks to Jen who spilled the beans, that act made me like her momentarily). Katie, on the other hand, can't outlast (for nuts), outplay and outwit, which she admitted, thankfully, so yes, no matter what, she should never win the million bucks.

Ok, i gotta go for now..shower time!!

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
