Sigh, my phone is officially screwed. After resting for an entire night, it's still unable to receive and maintain the damn signal.....
My dad is being shallow again, who the hell takes a scholarship to go to a local university? I'm not about to ruin my aspirations for SOME PEOPLE who aren't worth the effort. There is no humanly possible way that I am applying for a PSC scholarship to enter NUS, if so, I might as well not take a scholarship, there is no point in getting bonded for 6 years over something I am capable of doing on my own. Even w/o parent's support, if I slog my guts out for 4 years (instead of 3 if I go overseas) plus my inheritance from my grandmother, I am perfectly capable of supporting myself through NUS. Who needs grades with a family like that huh? One that can't wait to smash every single dream of yours. Who the hell needs hard work, effort and grades when you have a family like that? At least my grandmother who never seemed to care while she was alive did something... the money she gave will go a long way (I reckon).
My illness upgraded itself from a runny nose, really runny one at that that resembled a leaky tap (gross, I know... lol), to one PLUS an irritating dry cough that doesn't seem to stop. Yes, be warned, when I say I have a sore throat, it's a precusor to things much worse lol. It's a trend, everytime after I have a sore throat, I have to get a flu(why do I keep trying to type "flue" ? glue??) / cough/runny nose/fever etc...
British Council thing on Tues, if my phone stays screwed, Yin Xue is going to be quite hard to contact.... erm.. I think I have calling cards lying around somewhere...I hope...eek. Not only will it be hard to contact other people, it will be virtually impossible to contact ME. Yes, I am currently (and will be staying) incommunicado. At least that's what I am offline. So unless you have my home number (which very few people do lol), don't think about calling me...
My family is getting more and more irritating.... the slob thinks he's so smart, telling my mum to tell me to switch the phone on and off. Think I haven't tried that? *coughs* I am running w/o medication now..ugh....I can't find my pills =S
P.S. Just came home from outside and the moment I stepped out of the condo.. the phone started working PERFECTLY FINE. Something weird is going on with the 3G network in my area....
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
