Study Break!
I FINALLY finished revising my ENTIRE bio A level syllabus =) What an accomplishment, except I took so long to do it. Now I gotta brush up for my other subjects, esp econs (lol, havent done that one..:S)

Don't think I will be able to do much for the rest of the day, considering I just took my flu med (I'm ill, again) which happens to induce drowsiness, the effect of which caused me to sleep last night away, and I did close to NO WORK at all (except for finishing my sexual reproduction in humans notes).

Teacher's Day celebration in school today, and I took an early leave form. This morning, I definitely misplaced half my brain somewhere, I forgot to bring Mrs Than's gift to school, I was halfway to school on the bus when I realised that. So I had to alight, go home, get the gift and by the time I reached the bus stop, it was past 7am. I ended up taking a cab to school, after waiting for close to 10-15 mins. Why are cabs notoriously hard to flag down when you need them but always present in abundance when you won't want them?

I got 18/25 for my biochem "lect" test, and you know what the surprisingly part is? I didn't place much effort into it. I was banking on my bio knowledge since the test clashed with the econs lect test and I spent almost 7 hours the previous day just revising econs (despite having spent the entire weekend on econs). So yea, 18 is good =). Trigo is ok... maybe 'cause the questions were ok.. or maybe 'cause I'm getting better at trigo ? Nah.. impossible, my trigo has always been horrendous, since secondary school...But I managed to do more trigo sums that I ever imagined I could do.

Before assembly, I got my pink formed signed by Ms Teo and Mrs Than. I guess when you're the kinda student that hardly ever skips school and passes decently, teachers generally don't have a problem in signing you out of school lol. I got away with it relatively easily, either because of that or because of my reason. What was the reason I gave? That I was sending my dad to the hospital, which isn't a lie. He was admitted into Gleneagles Hospital at 10 in the morning after being discharged from CGH yesterday. I was SHOCKED, APPALLED to see concierges in Gleneagles, call me ignorant or whatever, but a concierge? At a HOSPITAL? That's new. How come I didn't see any when I was staying at East Shore??? The staff at Gleneagles seem to be 100% foreign. They don't sound like your typical Singaporean. MOst of them sound either Chinese (Chinese Chinese) or Filippino. Spent a good portion of the time there smiling at people because I felt so out of place lol. Wonder if anyone thought I was NUTS. Made small talk in the elevator, which is something you will NEVER catch me doing, except for that occasion.

Had lunch at Delifrance (again) lol then came home, and resumed studying, which resulted in me completing Growth and Development parts 1 and 2 plus biostatistics. What subject should I do now? Maths? Might as well complete my integration exercise....Hmm...

Bro and Mum going to the hospital later, for the first time, the slob is visiting my dad. He didn't bother during the 5 days he spent in CGH and now he bothers? Or is it 'cause it's near Orchard, so he can spent more of my mum's cash? He isn't that kind, trust me, after 18 years, I know. Haha I wanted to laugh when I saw what the hospital was going to make my dad wear; this blue "gown" that you know..patients wear that they tie at the back of their necks, leaving the back portion erm "vulnerable"? Yeah, that. I wouldn't want to wear there, even if you killed me.

My PSC seminar invitation is still missing, but I got my login id and password for the application for PSC scholarships. I want the invitation too... Why did YQ get it and I don't? Why did I get the application id and he didn't? Can PSC standardise their stuff for goodness sake? I wanna go........

Ok, onto yesterday's 4E2 gathering. We had a bumper crop. We were only expect the usual people; diana (kam), sirong, winnie, me (all tjcians), elaine, huiping, minrui (all vjcians) and chen yu (hcjc, who was absent). In the end, there were 11 of us, somehow word got around the rest of the class and people started turning up, which is nice. We had... other than the above mentioned 7, eunice, sherly, reren and eileen(the one who didn't recognise me at NUS). Gossipped (yes, so girly, what did you seriously expect?), had sundaes ($4 now at Swensens, selected ice cream only) and planned for a follow up gathering on the thursday after we end our prelims (we end on the 26th, damn, I'm among the last supposed 33 people in the entire school to end the prelims, no thanks to my S papers). They're thinking about playing pool, and Lil' Miss Ignorant here has NEVER played that lol.

Ok, I should go off. Been yakking for the past 25mins.cya

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
