Before I say anything else, I'd just like to say that I think YOU were nothing short of spectacular tonight! Yes, I am proud, I'm glad, I'm happy and I'm beaming that everything went rather smoothly. I don't think my mother launched a full-blown verbal attack/interrogation on YOU though, if she did, she did it nicely (phew). Instead, I think now YOU know even more of my shortcomings (oops.. err...lol)
Anyway, don't feel bad that my mum paid for the meal, 'cause she went into it knowing that she wanted to pay (in a sense, I knew too, sorry for not warning YOU beforehand). My mum is just like that, she likes pampering others (YOU should see what she did when my classmates , both pri and jc, came over for projects. She bought them cakes and cooked them lunch). I'm so glad she found YOU nice and sweet =) That's why she extended the invitation to come up sometime to YOU =) Gosh.. I'm actually gushing. Lol. But let's not rush the whole coming up part yet, not till you're ready to deal with the father and the brother lol. Still, did I mention that I'm extremely proud of YOU tonight?
I can't believe how easily my mum took to YOU (to the extent of semi-airing our dirty laundry hahaha). For a moment there, I thought to myself "Is this becoming a session for her to grill him or for her to brainwash me and expose all my shortcomings?" lol. I thought YOU handled her questions wonderfully, always covering up for any portion that she might be worried about (esp the clubbing question, I know she was bothered by the fact that YOU do that, even if it's a rare event). Heh, although I still don't know why YOU switched my bowl and plate with YOUrs. Was mine dirty? I didn't notice, but if it was, thank YOU =). Anyway, I just wanted YOU to know how proud I am of YOU tonight.
I don't think I should be online for too long tonight, I still have a squad meeting to attend tomorrow. 1pm at Somerset MRT station. So I can't afford to oversleep by too much, although I do think that the usual suspects will be late. Lol. We're gonna go catch a movie, the whole ice skating idea was scrapped. Haha, no idea what they are intending to catch though, but I do know Prime and HP are probably out. Chicken Little? Saw 2 (I do think that some people might be dissuaded by that, but I should probably still be mentally prepared)? Zathura? Actually, I don't quite care, as long as it's not Prime.
Today, the news highlighted how dangerous our local tourist attractions can be. Sure didn't do a good job in promoting Singapore as THE place to visit, esp if tourists find out about the accidents. A 5th person has drowned off Sentosa, our island resort. While 2 young girls somehow fell off a roller coaster in Downtown East. How they fell baffles me, esp with all the safety precautions in place. But I'm glad I'm not a roller-coaster riding kinda person, because I am too scared to ever try riding one.
22 days to Christmas, 23 days to Boxing Day. I wonder why Boxing Day is called Boxing Day. And are Boxing Day babies entitled to punch/box people they don't like? Lol.
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
