I have a golden mouth, especially when it comes to running for buses. Have I ever told you how I somehow managed to make both my friend AND I run like panting hyenas for the bus ride home from school so many times I've lost count over the 2 years I was in junior college?
Anyway, I was chatting to a friend who'll be leaving the country soon to further her studies and I mentioned something along the lines of our JC class trying to get something organise to send her off on the actual day. Of course, when that innocent remark was made, NO ONE had started making any calls whatsoever to plan such an event. About a week later (this late morning), I got a text message inquiring about who would like to send her off. See? My words have come true, yet again! Lol. Now to see if my 2nd prediction about the squad trying to send her off (too?) comes true. The fact that the thought is there proves my innocent remark correct.
Or maybe I was being too much of a smart-ass with all my rationalising and logical thinking.... Lol.
Anyway, Teresa, if they are sending her off (it's a Monday morning flight), would you go despite our intense dislike for the junior college class (some of the people there annoy me) considering it would be the last time you'd see her for say 7 months? I don't mind, mainly because I like erm, TEN MINUTES away from the airport. Lol. Plus, that'd be my excuse for MacDees' breakfast. Haven't had it in a while. Don't mind BK breakfast too. Lol. Yes, I spend 5 months working in the CBD, cultivating a fear of food in the CBD as well as delivery food and fast food but barely 2 weeks after I've stop, I don't really mind fast food anymore. Lol. Ok, I don't mind Subway (no TUNA) and the breakfast menus at MacDees and BK as well as the food at Long John's Silver.
Tomorrow, it's off to yank my GCE A Level certificate from the hands of the junior colledge, then it's time to have some traditional pandan waffles sold at the bakery located across the road and hopefully, we'll find someplace to settle down for a chat. Ideas? Starbucks? Coffee Bean? Don't think we'll eat much after the waffles, after my experience at TRYING to down 2 waffles of lunch last year, which failed miserably after I only finished 1 and a half and threw the rest away, feeling as if I was gonna barf. Too filling. One will do tomorrow. =)
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
