I'm too lazy to think, I really am. It defies logic how I can actually quit a job to study for some tests, only to find myself completely unmotivated to think and study once I find myself unemployed. Somehow, by hook or by crook, I am going to have to pull myself together and start studying.
To be honest, I am not very confident of landing the A*STAR scholarship. My chances against the top students of the elite junior colleges in Singapore? Close to nil. At least I can safely say I've tried and I didn't give up, which I didn't. I expect A*STAR to be contacting their future scholars within the next 2 weeks and expect myself not to be one of them. The chances, realistically speaking, are just way too low.
Anyway, being unemployed feels good but boring. That's why I've been reading. On top of that, I've been playing lots of games. I've been meeting friends I haven't seen in quite some time, regaining some semblance of a social life. Soon, I shall have to study. I keep telling that to myself but nothing seems to be working.
Anyway as some of you might know, I have a new camera. I got the Sony Cybershot DSC T30. I know it's not the Canon Ixus I was saying I wanted but who am I to complain when the camera's a gift? The shots you see below were taken using that camera. Decent I would say, for an amateur photographer like myself. I haven't exactly explored the camera, finding all there is to it. I only know how to take basic shots with it and transfer the pictures to the computer. Hehe.
Oh yes, I bought the VCD to the show the 10th Kingdom. I LOVED it when it was aired years ago and I couldn't resist when I saw the VCD. Now just to lay my hands on the DVD/VCD to Boston Legal (I love Alan Shore!) and Grey's Anatomy. Hmmm....
About The 10th Kingdom, it's a remake of all the fairy tales we were brought up on and given a remix. Pretty nice show. I haven't met anyone who doesn't like the show (of course the only other person I know who has watched it is Charles and Charles likes it a lot.)
I'm off to get some CSI, after some Hillybilly Taiwanese trio's videos on YouTube almost gave me an aneurysm. Cya soon.
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
