My medical check up at the university, originally scheduled to be held tomorrow is now cancelled. Not that it's cancelled cancelled, but I've decided to go private. Apparently, a friend of a friend had to wait 6 hours to get hers done, and I was quite thankful that I was standing outside the clinic with an appointment for Saturday when I got wind of the news. 6 HOURS!?!?!?! Oh my freaking goodness!
Anyway, I will be off to do my university enrolment medical checkup this Saturday morning and the results better be in FAST. Apparently, someone I knew did hers with the same company (but different clinic I reckon) and got hers in 30mins. Mine has to be done pronto, well the results at least, because if things actually work out, I'll be on a plane early Sunday morning.
What? On a PLANE?
Yes, apparently the mother is now trying to pull of a last minute 2 week vacation to Houston where the father will be working. And if it materialises, it means I will freaking miss the WORLD CUP FINALS. Lol. And of course, past experiences have taught me not to expect ANYTHING from my family because 100% of the time, you'll really be disappointed. Lol. So there isn't really a rush to get the medical report except for the fact that I'm a lazy bum and want to get everything done at a shot.
For now, I am not going to jinx the whole Houston thing by talking about it incessantly.
This week is NUTS. I went out just now and found out that my student's travel pass has EXPIRED. In the end, I was made to pay cash though I did do something rather dishonest. I didn't mean to but I didn't have enough change on me.
See, the bus far would cost 60 cents using a pass and 90cents in coins. Since my pass has expired (!?!?!?!), it means that I'd have to pay the full adult cash fare of 90cents. The catch is, I only had 85cents and 'fessed up to the bus captain who then kept insisting that I had enough since my fare was only 55cents (student's fare but since I'm technically in-between schools which doesn't make me a student). To save myself from further embarrassment, I paid 55cents and took a seat. To redeem myself, on the journey home, I paid the full 90cents (actually I didn't have change and paid a dollar).
Other than my now-expired travel concession pass, I'm packed. In a sense that I'm busy. For the next couple of days at least. Tomorrow I will be meeting some campmates to buy some stuff. Wednesday, I'm meeting the other 3 loonies. Thursday I'm finally free. And Friday... we're having a reunion among the campmates. Not to mention the check up on Saturday.
I'm actually quite bored withh nothing to do now. So I'm going to just go off and entertain myself with some games. Cya

P.S. I realised that Pirates of the Carribean opens in cinemas here on 13 July. ARGH... If the Houston thing goes through, I'll only be able to watch it in late July, not mid July. Bummer.
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
