This week will be one hell of a hectic week.
One Molecular Genetics CA tomorrow One book report due on Wednesday One experimental presentation on Wednesday One Organic Chemistry Laboratory Report due on Thursday Two Molecular Genetics Laboratory Reports to complete over the weekend
ARGH?
Focus..focus..focus......focus on the freaking CA first. Lol.
Anyway I got back by first organic chemistry report and my first molecular genetics report back recently. I got an A- for organic chemistry (yay) and an A for the genetics lab report (yay). Thing is, now I have absolutely no freaking idea how to complete the 2nd reports for both of them. Hmmm... But I'll worry about that tomorrow. Tonight's meant for studying for the continual assessment tomorrow. I hope it'll be manageable.
The medication doesn't seem to work very well. It takes effect for abt 5 hours after I consume it and then the problem comes back and doesn't seem to get better. I have a feeling I'm feeling better only because my muscles are well.. relaxed.. and when the drug wears off, the muscle stops being relaxed and I get the same problem? No idea. I'm not a doctor. Lol.
I read in the papers today that Life Science grads are finding it difficult to land jobs in the life science industry. Ok, time to relook my future plans, which means I should seriously think about going into the civil service, or think abt applying for graduate medical school, or pursuing my post-grad studies after the bachelors. What I don't get is people overreacting and taking the article to mean that life science grads can't find jobs. The problem isn't that life science grads can't find jobs, they're just saying that they can't find jobs in the life science industry, which is another prickly problem on its own. Now when the papers start saying that life science grads can't find jobs at all, that's the time to start worrying. My parents even want me to consider switching majors now, but I'm in the major where I'm expected (and I expect myself ) to perform the best because my forte lies mainly in biology (I admit that my chemistry and non-existent physics suck). Or else, it's economics for me, which I reckon my parents will skin me for even suggesting. So for now, I'm staying put, and I intend to stay put 'cause I reckon I'm doing pretty well for now.
Alright, time to study, for now.Labels: School |
