My oh my, recess week is just whizzing by me! And it's not as if I've done a lot of work the past few days. I've only completed 4 reading assignments for General Physiology, done some research for my report for the Freshman Seminar, discussed and sent in 2 proposals for our experimental design (again for the Freshman Seminar), revised the chapter on DNA Replication for Molecular Genetics and done a little studying for the Biochemistry CA next week (I'm almost done with Enzymes, hopefully I can finish Enzyme Inhibition today as well). My Organic Chemistry? Untouched. I seriously hope to start on it tomorrow. I've been playing a little too much of the SIMS 2 after being deprived of it for 6 weeks. Is that an excuse? No. Yikes.
Anyway, I met up with some of my squad mates for dinner last night before Jia Xin flies off to Melbourne again where we won't see her till next year. Thanks Jia Xin for lugging back the extra large packet of Nougats lol. Let's see what we had,
There were 3 large and 1 small bowls of minced pork noodles 2 large plates of barbequed stingray 1 large plate of sambal squid 1 extremely large plate of oyster omelette 45 sticks of satay (think meat kebabs) 9 barbequed chicken wings and 1 cup of drink, at least, per person.
Needless to say, we couldn't finish the food and we resorted to playing games with forfeit to get people to eat the leftovers. I ended up eating one satay stick =S. My sweetie saved me from future forfeits by his timely arrival =). Thanks =)
Ok, I think I've stretched my little break a little too long now, time to get back to studying.

P.S. Still not very used to typing on this new laptop. Strangely enough, I was doing fine on the first one with the spoilt graphics card. Hmmmm.....
P.P.S. Since I came back, I think my brother and mother must have wolfed down at least 15 nougats. My mum ate 10 of those within 25 minutes of seeing them, that works out to 1 every 150 seconds.
