I'm posting from the university, in case you're thinking why am I up and blogging at this time of the day (when I usually only post in the late afternoon or night).

Thank you everyone for the congratulations regarding the summer programme, especially to Windfall Woman who has a blog post on it. Thank you all!

I'm supposed to start working on my sociology term assignment but I'll get started on it once I'm done blogging and I'm done eating my breakfast. Yes, breakfast is imperative to me (especially the tea) if I'm in school at this time of the day, or else I'll simply stay half asleep for the whole day.

Planning for the summer programme is quite confusing, I'm hearing rather conflicting views from quite a number of people, I can't find a travel companion (but that doesn't bother me that much), I can't find a room mate (it shouldn't bother me too much but I would hate to end up with a room mate who is the complete opposite as I am; sleep when I'm awake, awake when I'm sleeping kinda thing), I'm not close to anyone else going for the trip (it's ok... I guess), my tickets are not booked (can't book them till I know when I can erm, go home? Right now it's either the 3rd or 4th of August, I'm hoping for the 3rd) and I need to find a way to UCLA from LAX (check!!! Found a shared van that can do that, question now would be 'which part of UCLA is the van going to????')

On top of that, my parents are going a tiny bit nuts, I don't mind the direct flight on SIA to LA (in fact I prefer it since the seats are so much better but the check in time requires me to transit through Narita).

The university's wireless connection is ATROCIOUS. I'm getting disconnected every 5 minutes as I type this and I have to keep re-signing in. Maybe that's a message for me to get down to proper work. Alright then, till then, I'll cya!

P.S. (9.08am) Oddly enough, the connection stopped acting up after I got down to work. *shrugs* I managed to finish my draft! Time to submit my summer programme documents and then it's off to classes!
