Quick post before I head off to my 10am class (I still need to print my lecture notes and practical notes for the day because I decided that it wasn't worth torturing myself over, trying to print Bioinformatics notes when my printer obviously hates Bioinformatics).
I'm glad that this week will be a short week, and it's already week 4, which is scary considering how fast time is moving. I didn't expect the first month back in uni to fly by so quickly and it did and it's bad considering that I haven't quite gotten my studying mojo in sync.
But it's fantastic that the Lunar New Year (or Chinese New Year, CNY) is this week. The eve's this Wednesday, which is when most Chinese families would have their reunion dinners (Pst, we're finally going away from my uncle's cooking this year, the last couple of years were disasters, food-wise). My lessons for Wednesday has been cancelled, and to top of it, the first 2 days of the Lunar New Year has traditionally been public holidays in Singapore, which means I get Wednesday to Friday off. :) Absolutely fantastic. I'd do anything to get away from school. Now if only we had the full 15 days off like they do in China, I'd be over the moon.
