Is it me or is my head too heavy? Here's the gist of what I'm about to rant about. You see, well, it's normal for pillows that you sleep on the flatten themselves out after a white, am I right? By a while, it seems that the norm for most people (meaning only people in my family since I can only compare with theirs, unless you want to email me a picture of your pillow and how long you've been sleeping on it) would be... MONTHS, maybe even years. By months, I do mean something like 6 months? Probably more.
My pillow isn't your normal cotton-filled pillow. It is a goose feather pillow, and the whole reason why I invested in one would be 'cause when it flattens, you can throw the pillow up in the air in all directions and watch as it "inflates" and comes back to life. Back to its pre-flattened state.
Here's my problem now. I have had to "reflate" my pillow almost every day and then the moment I rest my head on it, it becomes COMPLETELY flat again! I didn't use to have that problem. In its early age (now it sounds as if my pillow is ancient, it's about 3-4 months old, I reckon), I would "reflate" it once and not have to do it again for the next month. So it boils down to my head gaining mass, or my pillow becoming too old to support my heavy head. Damn it, I have a heavy head?? Anyhow, thanks to my constantly flat pillow, I now cannot rest my head on the pillow without getting a headache.
Anyway, I'm going to do something I did before my GCE O Levels. This refers to my list of things I want to do after the exams, serves as a pretty darn good source of motivation, working towards that date where you're free to do anything you like. Of course, it could also become a damn source of distraction. Anyhow, here they are.
After my GCE A Levels, I would like to...
catch up on sleep, seriously. Claire asked me yesterday when I returned to school if I was tired (I wasn't), apparently, I look exhausted
resume playing SIMS 2 (Oh yes!!! Lol)
go out, maybe just to walk about Orchard Road (haha, yes, I have a strange habit of doing that ALONE, but of course that will have to come closer to Xmas )
revamp my room (it is a MESS now)
build a bonfire using my PW stuff, Maths tutorials, Econs tutorials, Chem notes, Chinese file as fuel (will not happen, unless someone needs fuel for a BBQ...)
save up and work to earn some cash
use the cash I save/earn to get myself a digital camera
go on a 2-3 week vacation to Italy (I need money!!!)
HOPEFULLY start meeting up with people I haven't had the chance to meet up in eons, like my primary school friends (funny how we always talk about a gathering but no one ever plans and how we're scattered enough to make planning a nightmare), squad mates, and MAYBE sec 4 classmates (haha, I always sit around and wait for them to plan, my job is just to turn up =P)
I wonder if Eveline and Co. are meeting up post-exams...1st 3 months 22/04 meeting anyone?
read...yes..read.. I don't want to grow moudly, although I suspect my brain is already mouldy
go catch a movie, or rather movieS.. haha
start on my erm...dubious scholarship applications? Kinda hesitant on this one
hope that the squad outing to Wild, Wild West materialises (XQ to plan... hahaha.. just don't point the finger at me )
bring my dog (just one) on a extended walk OUTSIDE the condo (for once, I think she's sick of walking IN the condo)
get ready for Christmas, how I don't know, but I'm in a Christmassy mood this year
settle all my food cravings, once and for all, after being tortured with images of cheesy pizza and the nots in the mass media.
start swimming semi-regularly
replace my very scratched, and anti-fogless goggles
Ok, that's all I can think of for now. Some I will do, some I will not. Expected. But it's nice to have something to look forward to. Even if my life is one major piece of crap. Haha no planning for a prom this year, won't be going. No wonder my list looks a little shorter.
Alrighty, back to Market Structure... last 14 pages. I aim to finish up till.....Labour today! No... I won't be going into labour. Sheesh. Ok, I'm talking to myself now, am I freaking you out?
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
