In Need of Damage Control
I thought it was funny that my MSN display message was actually talking about my 7 year old mouse pad which was a Children's Day gift from my form teacher who took the effort to personalise it for everyone was falling apart on me. The cover was peeling off and it has since gone from black and white in its hey days to black, brown and grey. Lol. The only reason why I persist in using it because I don't feel comfortable using another mousepad even though this one is one of your usual sponge-like, squarish mouse pads which I seem not to have at home.

Then the next thing I knew would be that the hole in my school bag has gone from the size of a finger, to the extent I can insert 3 of my fingers in. It doesn't help that the hole is near one of the straps, which is starting to threaten to give way. So yes, add a new school bag to the list of items I have to get replaced, other than my extremely abused 7 year old mousepad.

My OTHER bag, yes, the sling bag is starting to rip apart on me as well. Except, the sling bag isn't as old as the school bag!! Compare 3 years' old with 8 years' old. Yes, my strange looking yellow and black school bag is 8 years old. Talk about a long life, no wonder it's starting to die on me now. Anyhow, at least the damage to the sling bag is superficial, the lining on the insides is just badly ripped apart, the exterior still looks fine, so I reckon it should be able to last for another year, maybe 2? I hope. Lol.

Then, my keyboard is starting to show signs of AGE. Yes, this 3 year old keyboard of mine went bonkers on me earlier on. All I wanted to do was to type an entry and it would'nt let me. Now, it's fine, I hope, after rebooting the pc twice haha. I'm hoping it doesn't die on me yet, although it is showing signs of doing just that.

My bathroom mug has officially died and has gone to rubbish chute heaven. Yes, it's been thrown away after it's become so severely cracked it can no longer hold water in it in the long run.

My bedsheets have holes in them because of age, and washing. But I don't like the material of the other bed sheets because they are just too coarse. Yes, I like it smooth and soft, thank you.

But the one item that has somewhat withstood the test of time, my australian-bought Ripcurl wallet still works! Ok, minus the faulty, loose clip/catch and the peeling leather...and the somewhat peeling interior. Other than that, it works perfectly fine. And it's 6 years' old to boot! Of course it has my other array of wallets to thank because I haven't been using it religiously since 1999, I only started using it full time between 1999-2000 as well as from 2003 onwards after my Red Cross wallet errm.. went to wallet heaven, and after another leather wallet died on me and I didn't like the other wallet my mum bought. Still, it's holding up well for a 6 year old product I reckon=)

I'm bored, and I'm not in the mood to study. Someone kick me, please (I'm joking). *Sighs* Currently feeling a lil perturbed about something, and I don't quite know what it is.

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
