Trust me when I say that it is a HORRIBLE idea to get food poisoning the night before an exam.
Yes, I've been through it, went through it last night, and it was horrible. I still have no idea what it was that triggered it, but it is annoying when you're trying to revise and you're clutching your damn stomach in pain (it goes on and off). It's not even those underlying pain kinda pain, it's those acute pain that makes you wanna whine, cry and not take the exams the next day lol. And I suffered for 3 hours. 3 annoying hours trying to put up with the pain. In the end, I slept early at midnight, sans fan, sans air con, 'cause I was really feeling so sick. Not a good idea I tell you. Not only did I suffer for the night, I had negligible sleep which resulted in me feeling extremely cranky the moment I woke up. I'm even wondering if the headache I have now is due to a lack of sleep, considering I did spend 75% of last night tossing and turning and trying to find a position that won't exacerbate the damn pain.
My first S papers exam. YUCK. Haha, actually it was easier than expected but I'm still not expecting to score well because for one, I didn't study enough (partly 'cause of last night and partly 'cause it was so hard to focus on studying when you know everyone else is out there having fun while you're slogging your a$$ studying for this). Both times, the first 2 essays weren't bad, but after I was done with them, my brain was sufficiently tired to switch off, BOTH TIMES. So I struggled for my last bio and econs essays. I hope I get a M at the end... Lol
Got an email from FIREFLY inviting me to their scholarship seminar on the 8th of Oct. Should I? Should I not? 3 hours. I wonder if I'll fall asleep. Anyone else going for it? And yes, some compulsory thing at NUS this saturday for ALL ECONS S paper students. Can I kill Mrs Beetsma first because she didn't tell us what it's for and what time is it, as well as the exact location of it. Am I supposed to read her mind? Nvm, I may ask Mrs Than IF I bump into her? Can I not go though? And save my $8??
Lessons start tomorrow, I need a break, even though I took a quasi-break from Thursday to Saturday, but it's unfair, why do other people get 5 days and I get none? Just because I take S papers? Does that make me any less human???
I guess we're gonna start getting out papers back tomorrow and I am NOT looking forward to it. Sigh. I hope I pass.....
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
