The picnic went great. Ok, it was great, considering it was my first attempt at it. I woke up at 5 in the morning to prepare the food. It was nothing fantastic, just some tuna sandwiches and some ham and cheese sandwiches (I prefered those). Washed the grapes (for the dogs, yes, I have 2 vegetarian dogs who eat oranges, grapes, watermelons right down to LETTUCE!). We set off at about 6.30am, reached the Botanical gardens about 30mins later and settled down soon after.
The humans settled down, but not the dogs. Somehow, the 2 of them refused to calm down. It became a familiar routine and holding down the dogs, trying to grab the food, the dogs notice and gets hyper all over again and then we struggle to restrain BOTH of them. On the whole, I think they had a nice time out though, judging from all the bambi-eyed looks they threw me on our way back.
I guess that marked a nice start to the month of May. May will be a happy month, or so I hope. With 2 more public holidays on the way (Polling Day and Vesak Day). Not to mention College Day on the 20th. Hopefully, June will swing by before we know it.
Alright, it's starting to get late, so I guess I shall stop. I seriously have to make a stop at the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority to get my passport photograph changed, lest I find myself unable to return to the country the next time I leave. Lol.
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
