The exams are just around the corner, hence the lack of updates. Don't be expecting my usual daily updates for the next 3 weeks or so.
Anyhow, the renovation works have taken a cruel, cruel twist. After knocking the false ceiling off, it turns out that I have a series of leaky pipes running through my room. So now, we have to re-run the pipes for 3 air-con units. On top of that, we have to knock the false ceilings off 2 bathrooms, the storeroom and the common corridor. After the works are done, the paint on the walls is likely to be so screwed we'll have to repaint the entire apartment.
Knocking off additional false ceilings (1 day) Re-piping (3 days) Replacing the false ceilings (1-3 days) Painting (3 days) Total? 9-10 days of renovation. No peace for me at home for 2 painful weeks. All these will have to wait till December when my exams are over. No peace. And I thought the post- A Level period was supposed to be heaven! Damn..
haha yea, my very haunted room:P Nah.. it's actually what the false ceiling in my room is concealing. Not as freaky as it seems in the pic though, you gotta give some credit to the mobile phone for doing a decent job so far though. No camera of my own. Oh well *shrugs*
I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
