$200!!
Now for a much light-hearted post. Muahahaha. Ok, there is no need to doubt my sanity on the 2nd day of the new year.

Yesterday, I did something I havent' done in years. I bought $200 worth of clothes. I went to Parkway Parade, undoubtedly the most up-market shopping mall in the east of Singapore and waltzed into Isetan with $85 worth of vouchers.

Initially, nothing really caught my eye, considering the first thing I saw was some really gawky clothes for the upcoming Lunar New Year. Walked some more..and more.. until I saw a section for clothes by Joop right next to the Mango section.

My apologies to Mango fans, but despite a huge sale going on at Mango which supposedly boasts up to 70% off, I find Mango clothes overrated. They are pricey but not really to my taste. Call me a square or conservative when it comes to my dress sense or what-so-ever.

Anyway, it was my first time seeing the brand, Joop. But the clothes still caught my eye. Plus, I've had my eye out for nice turtle necks for years. So in the end, I left with 2 blazers, 2 turtle necks and 2 skirts (what a surprise..me buying skirts...still..jeans remain my choice of apparel). The bill came up to slightly over $206. What a drastic change from my 1 tee-shirt for less than 100 Thai baht days. Hahaha.

Anyway, the slob went to look at his $800 Seiko watch (and drool over it) when I spotted this really nice watch by Citizen in the display window. Of course I didn't buy it. There's a limit to how much I can spend in a day (or maybe not...but I certaintly didn't have the cash for that kind of watch, still don't). So for now, I am content to stick to my 25 Hours watch till it dies on me somehow. No... I'm not about to try something sadistic like thrown it into the deep end of the swimming pool overnight, especially not after the way my first Baby G (I loved it, sob, it stayed with me for 7 years!! Without a single battery change. And the watch died before the battery did!) perished. My current Baby G I wouldn't have bought if I had the cash. I just needed a digital watch because I really can't be bothered to read the hands. There are so many far nicer designs of Baby G watches out there. So considering this watch is now 3 years old, I reckon I have another 4 years before it dies on me.

Jurassic Park 3 is on tonight, and today marks the last day of freedom for the primary/secondary/junior college students! Hahaha, somehow I feel glad I'm not one of them anymore. No more waking up at 6 in the morning to go to school, or worse 5am if I were to take the bus to school. But then again, tomorrow marks the day Elaine and I will somewhat invade International Plaza and pay a *ahem* visit to the job agencies there (I just found out I have an aunt working in Recruit Express o.O). I want the cash!!!

I've read the first chapter of the Da Vinci Code and erm.. ok.. it is above my expectations, which is actually very low. Haha. And I've moved to another hospital in Theme hospital. The earthquakes are annoying and haha at one point in time, I hired 8 handymen to clean the puke up when the hospital was hit by a vomitting virus. Only to fire half of them when the virus passed. Hahaha. I'm about to move onto my 5th or 6th hospital. How many stages are there seriously?

Jurrasic park is now on. Cya!

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
