And as we wave goodbye to April
Hmm the past few days have been rather interesting for me, pretty nice days, excluding the parts about me being sleep-deprived, as usual, for the entire week.

Yesterday, after school, i caught The Interpreter =) Finally. It was worth it, all 2h30mins of it. I must say that Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn did a fairly decent job at portraying what their characters are going through in the movie (although i do believe that Nicole Kidman did a better job in The Others, Cold Mountain im not too sure since i didnt get to watch it and i still prefer Sean Penn in Dead Man Walking).

--MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD--
Sylvia Broome's a UN interpreter who overhears what she thinks is a plot to assasinate Matobo's (it doesn't exist, fyi lol) president. After a rather unsettling ride in the next day, she reports what she hears and in pops Keller and partner. The agents don't believe Sylvia, and after having investigated her background (with lots of "help" from the Matobo president's security head), they dig up enough dirt on her to render her a suspect. All that until she gets an uninvited guest who waves to her outside her fire escape, and from there on, Keller and agents end up having an extra person to protect, Sylvia. Out of the blue, Philippe, a photographer for a French mag, as well as a friend of Sylvia and her brother, Simon, shows up unexpectedly trying to inform Sylvia that her bother, together with her ex-lover, has died in Matobo after being ambushed in a football stadium. The first time he fails, soon after he dies and leaves a note behind for her, informing her of the deaths. Simon's belongings are enough to drive Sylvia over the edge and she flees, on the pretence of going home, which Keller interprets as Matobo. On the day the president arrives, after a relatively close shave with death, the agents manage to apprehend the mastermind behind the plot, the security head, which means the assasination was all a show. As they keep the president in a safe room, Sylvia, who has been in the room since the previous night appears, wrestling the gun away from the president and holds him hostage. Keller, after figuring out the true meaning behind Sylvia's message, enters the room and manages to end the situation on a peaceful note. The president is tried in the ICC for crimes against humanity and Sylvia is sent back to Matobo in the end.
--END OF SPOILER--

Yup, that was a rather brief summary of the movie. I like the bus scene, heh, that was nice, i thought. Now the movies i'm looking out for would be Kingdom of Heaven, War of the Worlds and Star Wars Ep 3.

Ok fast track to today. This morning i was at Singapore Expo for the Times Book Warehouse Sale. I'm surprised at the prices at which the books were going (each book for $10 and under). Although I couldnt find the 2 books by Brian Sykes I was looking for, and i wasnt able to locate the "5 People You Meet in Heaven". I must say that their organisation leaves much to be desired. Books were everywhere, in no particular order, classified into fiction, non-fiction, heath, parenting, food and beverages and children's. Other than that, we had same books in a thousand and one different tables and rows. Geez, think they could arrange it according to the authors as well?

Anyhow, i bought 7 books, which isnt too bad i reckon =)

Ok, i think im gonna stop here for now, will update later if i can. Cya

Don't cross me, I BITE
Yup, again the title says it all, I'm really, really crossed now.

One, it is confirmed that i officially missed a band 1 for PW by 1 idiotic mark, thanks to my school for sending 800 students to the abattoir, where only 80 survived the slayings. If you don't get what i mean, never mind then. Then it turns out that MOE doesnt really have the intention of re-grading us, it's just one big fat plot on their part to pocket $168 from every single gullible students available considering the chances of us getting back our original grades would be 99.9999999%. So in 3 words, "screw you, MOE".

TJCians, unite! Let's all freaking write to the ST Forum and enjoy our 15 minutes of fame as the nation ponders as to what the hell went wrong with TJC and MOE. Their plot to destroy our lives mustn't be allowed to go undetected. We cannot stand for this! Plus, at the same time, we can lobby for our fellow counterparts who like us, had abysmal results for their PW (i believe it's either YJC or JJC). Let's hog the headlines, let's get on the news, let the entire nation, or better, the world, know how horrible the Singapore education system is, because it is out to destroy lives. Then, no country would want to adopt our dumb education system anymore and Singapore shall continue rotting, yay.

In the first place, we live in this moral wasteland affectionately called Singapore. Moral wasteland, what an apt description. For one, Singaporeans are selfish, they are self-centred, they lack integrity and they are PURE EVIL. Of course I am generalising but still, i happen to think that that's the general consensus. Because the people i am talking about would be the damn politicians (ALL politicians, like lawyers, are LIARS, live with it). All they think about would be oppression, how to threaten and scare their opponents into submission. Everything they do, there will ALWAYS be an ulterior motive behind it. What the education system, which was nonetheless constructed by the POLITICIANS, has done to hapless students of the nation would be to wreck their lives, their future and their minds. It produces sheep incapable of free will, of thought. In a world where teachers teach nothing but propaganda, where politicians lie to cover up their flaws, their shortcomings and their criminalistic acts (i won't even call it a mistake, i think electing them was a major mistake), where people do everything driven by self-interest (econs, yet again... i love econs hahaha..right..)what else can you call it other than a moral wasteland?

Ok, maybe i should move onto something less dark and trivial. I am annoyed at the male species. I think the male species is doomed to extinction, because it deserves to become extinct. Over dinner, the slob (looooong, faithful readers would know who i happen to be referring to. If you don't get it, its the same person i term "a slob of fat". Gotta love the guy who came up with the term for me =P) displayed his lack of proper upbringing, of hygiene and of manners. Firstly, he got his own dinner wrong (an act of stupidity) and ate someone else's dinner (that person being my mum, another person incapable of growing up -.-'''). Ok, so it wasnt exactly my problem. But me being the righteous me (argue for all you want, but i stand corrected =P), told him to make things simple (simple solution to a simple problem) by just transferring one extra dish over to his packet (btw, i HATED dinner, no one on earth seems to know what i enjoy eating *sobz*) and the next thing i knew, the slob turned a simple solution into the most grotesque solution you could have. He actually transferred his half chewed rice over to the next packet to make up for the portions already in his obese alimentary canal, well basically, he put his half eaten food into the other person's packet. GROSS! Guy have NO SENSE of hygiene... And instead of eating 4 servings of dishes as he was intended to (i got 2, he got 4, see the difference between a PIG/SLOB and a normal human being?), he promptly helped himself to a 5th. So this proves that GUYS ARE SELFISH! Anyhow, i pointed his extremely grotesque ACTS to him and got an earful and i felt like saying " i hope you get AIDS and die!" but then again, contracting AIDS and dying would be too easy a death for such a creep. We should crucify him, skin him, castrate him and mutilate him before allowing him to die. *smirks*

Of course i am being grossly unfair to the nicer specimens of guys out there, but as men/boys, don't you feel ashamed that monsters like that exist in your kind? I would, in fact, i shudder when i see bimbos(the really, really bimbotic ones) among my kind. Maybe you don't feel disgraced, and if so, you guys really deserve to become extinct!

Ok, homework beckons... got TONS of them today.

Oh My Lethargy..
Yes, the title says it all. Well, pretty much. I'm feeling lethargic, kinda think I slept too much heh. Well I DID NOT get any work done yesterday (just 'cause i wasn't in the mood. And I shall quote myself "My hw beckons to be done, but I'm not in the mood" ) So yes, that means today I am going to have to slog my guts out. There's Econs S, Econs, Math, Math WS, Chem Supp and Chem. Shoot me, someone, just shoot the hell out of me. Lol.

Somehow, I'm not freaking out yet, yup, but I will definitely freak out when night falls. >.< I wanna watch the Interpreter but since people born in my decade (narrowly defined lol, which means plus-minus 2 years) seem disinterested in it, I think I will have to watch it alone. Geez, haven't done that in ages, ages meaning 4 years. Lol, yup, I used to make a habit out of doing that, well I used to have a cinema at White Sands!! Not anymore, bother... Will see if I can drag myself to the theatre next Friday/Saturday. Or should i get the piracted VCD? Haha, breaking the damn law, ok, I'll be nice and NOT break any laws =)

My dreams the past couple of nights have been rather interesting. Not scary, just interesting. The whole remembering dreams thing is strange to me, 'cause I'm the type who forgets everything the moment I wake up. So yea, I've been dreaming of death. Cool, huh? Death. Kinda sketchy to me, but the only thing I know was in my damn dreams would be death. Cool... now to decipher what it means. Of course, I've heard the whole thing about dream analysis and heard people tell me that deaths in a dream means a new beginning. So, if that's true, what kinda new beginning would there be? *ponders* I'm just waiting for my sadistic dreams to return so I can wake up in the morning, feeling disturbed. Sadly, that hasn't happened in about 3 years. Don't ask me how and why I remember, I just do. Lol.

I'm thinking of getting my PW grades re-marked. For a hefty price of $168 per PERSON. Screw MOE, I'd say. But still, I do think I deserve that elusive Band 1 (only in TJC, apparently, it's in ABUNDANCE in the other JCs). $168 to move up one band, will it be worth it? Plus I don't have a guarantee that I WILL get that Band 1. =( Last night, I was told that it isn't going to be worth it since a Band 2 isn't all that different from a Band 1. But still, I feel indignant. If I do get my Band 1 after the re-marking, I would have paid $168 for my sense of self-worth, a perfect grade which i think i deserve, as well as a boost to my self-esteem (which I need rather badly at this point in time). If I don't get what I want, I would have paid $168 for nothing. Makes you re-think whether to send it in or not huh? That's their bloody objective (MOE). After screwing us up, they're now trying to shut us up.

Online quizzes (lol)
Which Desperate Housewife are you?

phoebe, you're most like Gabriel

Naughty girl! You don't have to be an adulterer with your teenage (and hot!) gardener to have a lot in common with sexy Gabriel. Like your desperate housewife counterpart, you're passionate about life and love (not to mention, the finer things in life), and you're not afraid to be a little selfish and let your heart and emotions lead the way.

But you're not just sex appeal and sass. You've got a smart and savvy head on your shoulders, and you know how to use it. Not to mention, you love spending time with your friends and lending a good ear, even if it means missing a shopping spree or romantic rendezvous. And nothing's more attractive than that.

What's Your Vibe?

phoebe, your vibe is Burgundy Chic

You're one class act — the perfect balance of a cool, casual attitude and an elegant, polished style. There's a certain grace in almost everything you do. It's true, you make things look easy — even when they're not(really??? hmmm....).

And while there's nothing flashy about how you present yourself, you never fail to dazzle most people you meet. You tend to take life as it comes — and it's not easy to throw you off course (actually, it is unnaturally easy to throw me off-course =P you just have to figure out how to). A strong sense of self and a hearty dose of confidence help you handle whatever comes your way. And usually, look good doing it.

Do You Lead a Balanced Life?

phoebe, you really know how to focus on Work

But everyone needs a break — even from things they're great at. Whether your work centers around an office or a home, you're extremely dedicated. Of course, just because you work hard doesn't mean you don't know how to play hard, too. But finding the time to get out there and pamper yourself can be tough.

Take a few minutes to enjoy lunch, instead of eating it at your desk or while running errands. Getting away from stress can be beneficial to you and your responsibilities. It's a lot easier to be creative and efficient when you're relaxed and rested. And when you're not consumed by duties, you're free to be fully present in the moment...even if that moment is back at the office or helping the kids with homework. And isn't that what life is all about?

Heard that, SCHOOL!?!?!?! I need a BREAK, so where's my well-deserved break? *taps feet*

The Enneagram Test

phoebe, you're a Type 6 - The Advocate

Friends, family, and colleagues probably appreciate your strong work ethic, courage to lead, and dedication to causes that you believe in. They're also apt to know that when they come to you with a problem, you will become an energetic partner in helping them find a solution. As an Advocate, you're likely to be seen as an altruistic, supportive person who has a talent for organizing others<--- altruistic? I doubt it though...supportive? Something is wrong with the test results heh.

Being a member of this type puts you in good company. Princess Diana, with her focus on activism and humanitarian efforts in her later life, and Malcolm X, a minister, national spokesman for the Nation of Islam, and militant civil rights leader of the black nationalist movement, were also Type 6s.

This means that compared to the eight other Enneagram types, you have a strong sense of community and drive to create stability and security in the world. You probably accomplish that either by supporting your own family or engaging in local or global activism.

My Alignment?

Neutral

A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. She doesn’t feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most neutrality is a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil. After all, she would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, she’s not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. The common phrase for neutral is "true neutral." Neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion.

--excerpted from the Player’s Handbook, Chapter 6

Keep in mind the alignment suggested by the quiz is just that: a suggestion. It describes your character no better than a 36-question test would describe you. But it’s a good way to start thinking about how your character acts when confronted with issues of alignment.

Now that your character has taken the test, make a note of which questions scored in the opposite direction from your overall alignment. These exceptions can tell some interesting tales about your character Are you a good character with a greedy streak? Are you a lawful character who can’t stand the village elders? Don’t just roleplay your alignment -- roleplay your alignment exceptions, too. Few characters perfectly embody their alignment choice.

Shoot yourself in the foot!
Finally, im back here. After eons of thinking to myself "should i blog today", i finally decided to come back and just type something.

This morning, i am one hell of an annoyed person. I seriously think that my mother was born w/o any brains so to speak of. You do not go into a person's room, on the pretence of mopping, and then proceed to make noise that's LOUDER than a rocket taking off while the person is still sleeping. Yes, that is how BRAINLESS my mother is. So right now, i am sleep deprived after sleeping for 5 hours, i have a backache as well as a headache and i feel like drilling a hole through anyone (and i do mean ANYONE) if he/she comes and tries to irritate me.

And that includes MOE (nice transition there, isnt it?). On friday, we FINALLY got back our project work results and i admit, i am disappointed with what i got. Band 2. Seriously, what the ****!!! Let me set the record straight. For one, i believe that NO ONE in my group should get below a Band 2 and that happens to be just about the ONLY THING that the intellectually challenged examiners at the board seem to agree with me. So obviously that means that my ENTIRE group ended up with band 2s. But i also happen to believe, within my group, there are AT LEAST 2 people in it who deserve a band 1 (and of course this may sound egoistic but i do believe that i deserve a band 1). ANd what i am going to say next is going to sound absurd but this came from MOE nonetheless.

For Communitcation:
- Confidence: Shows confidence and familiarity with the subject throughout. Very confident and familiar with the entire project. Well-reheared (all good comments, notice?)
- Awareness of audience: Used gestures to engage the audience. Gestures a bit, TOO WELL-REHEARSED and not natural but does try to engage the audience. Need to learn to look more directly at audience rather than elsewhere.

Let me try to defend myself here (red draws attention, does it? lol). Being well-rehearsed became both my "forte" and my "downfall"?!?!?! Now which examiner hasnt been using his/her head?!?!?!?! And by the way, i DID NOT memorise a script. I MEMORISED THE IMPORTANT POINTS. That was just about how far i went. So if the ability to string clear, conherent sentences while still sounding confident is obviously wrong (as in my case), then i'd think sounding grammatically incorrect 90% of the time, stuttering would be 100% correct. And with regards to their "unnatural" comment, i say "SCREW YOU!" Natural enough? That's the way i speak when im driving a point across and yes, it is NATURAL. Just try anyone who's seen me in debates and you would have seen worse. I'm no doubt aggressive (verbally lol) while i need to drive a point across or when im arguing (lol, not a pretty sight..) Oh yes and about me not looking at the audience, i did. Except i looked at everyone in the room, not just the 4 self-centred morons seated in the front row. Shoot yourself in the foot, moron!

Colour Quiz

Your Existing Situation

Easily affected by her environment and readily moved by the emotions of others. Seeks congenial relationships and an occupation which will promote them

Your Stress Sources

Feels unappreciated and finds the existing situation threatening. Wants personal recognition and the esteem of others to compensate for the lack of like-minded people with whom to ally herself and make herself more secure. Her sensual self-restraint makes it difficult for her to give herself, but the resulting isolation leads to the urge to surrender and merge with another. This disturbs her as she regards such instincts as weaknesses to be overcome; only by not succumbing to them, she feels, can she withstand the difficulties of the situation. Wants to be valued as a desirable associate and admired for her personal qualities.

Your Restrained Characteristics

Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense, leaving her rather isolated in her attachments.

Feels that she cannot do much about her existing problems and difficulties and that she must make the best of things as they are. Able to achieve satisfaction through sexual activity.<--- Seriously, WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?!?!

Feels that things stand in her way, that circumstances are forcing her to compromise and forgo some pleasures for the time being.

Your Desired Objective

Unwilling to participate and wishes to avoid all forms of stimulation. Has had to put up with too much of a tiring or exhausting nature and now desires protection and noninvolvement

Your Actual Problem

Depleted vitality has created an intolerance for any further stimulation, or demands on her resources. A feeling of powerlessness subjects her to agitation, irritation, and acute distress from which she tries to escape by refusing further direct participation. She confines herself to a cautious approach and a concealed determination to get her own way in the end.

Your Actual Problem #2

The unsatisfied desire to be respected, to stand out from amongst her friends, is causing some anxiety. As a result, normal gregariousness is suppressed and she refuses to allow herself to become involved, or to participate with others in their ordinary activities.

All Gone Wrong
Today was a strange day; for some reason, i forgot to bring lots of stuff to school today. Example?

I forgot to bring my already completed bio tutorial and got punished for it. My first time forgetting to bring my tutorial to school since i entered JC and i got punished. Was made to write out a 3-part essay. My bio tutor has got her priorities all wrong. To her, not bringing the tutorial is worse than NOT DOING IT. *knocks on door* At least those who forgot their tutorial did their work? Never mind, there's no way into the head of teachers... Other than that, i forgot to bring my econs worksheet (which has already been completed) *shrugs* No idea why im so muddle-headed today.
Anyhow, today the CT treated the entire class to ice cream today.... surprising... lol. Was nice eating raspberry ripple although it tasted more strawberry-like than raspberry...

It rained cats and dogs on my way home... and yinxue and i shared an umbrella to the bus stop outside the school, and we were DRENCHED. And after that, i spent 30mins on the bus, FREEZING. By the time i got home, my skirt was 75% WET. Lol...

Ok, gotta go now, still got my bio s paper assignment to start on (eek!!!).

Phoe

P.S. saw the ad for The Interpreter on tv, looks interesting... sigh, wonder if i'll have the time to catch it.. but gotta find out when it comes out first *hmmm*

National Economics and FUND MANAGEMENT Quiz?!?!?!
Apparently, the hot water failed to kill me, BUMMER.

And now that i've established that i hail from a dysfunctional family, let's move onto something more mundane.

21 May 2005, 10.30am in tjc. Meet to go to NUS for National economics and fund management quiz. 2-way transport will be provided.

One thing that caught me by surprise; the name of the quiz. Lol, i didnt know anything about the "FUND MANAGEMENT" at the back. Seriously, i thought it would only be an economics quiz, thats it. Wonder what the difference will be with the "FUND MANAGEMENT" behind... *ponders*

Forgot everything about my 1st order differential equations and i have a test this wednesday... i need a miracle, anyone willing to provide me with one?

Of Allergies, Dislikes and a Highly Irritated Fruitcake
I dont get it, is the sentence "i hate black pepper" so hard to comprehend? I...HATE...BLACK..PEPPER.. To put it really simply, it means i really, really, really, really dislike black pepper to the extent i feel like throwing the food right out the window when i see black pepper. There you go. In case you think im trying to piss the entire world off (which i do think that some people think along those lines), i didnt use those exact words, though now i wish i did. I mean, for YEARS, i've been saying "dont buy anything containing black pepper 'cause i dont eat it" and lo' and behold!! EVERY meal, there's black pepper on the table.

TO begin with, i just came home from a HORRIBLE day in school, got an earful for something over which i had absolutely no control, opened up my dinner (packed and freaking COLD, but im not gg to complain considering i've eaten worse such as SAND) and saw BLACK PEPPER!!! My blood pressure rose, i could feel it rising. And now that im online, there's NO ONE to let me rant to. Damn it... Screw the govt... old man (heh, you know who you are rite? Here's a hint, your name starts with a Z, with the initials of LZY, clear enough? ) isnt around to hear me =( And no one listens. EVER. Forget it, when has the world ever listened to a mumbling, grumbling, annoyed, distraught, highstrung and irritable hag? Im agitated enough to throw a fit, and i really wanna throw a fit. So excuse me for being "childish".

I strongly believe that people around me are enjoying the process of driving me to my grave prematurely. Not that im expected to live long anyway (most of you dont get it, and im not gonna explain... i only know of one person, old man =P , who actually knows what i mean). SO yes, i dont have a long life, so will you people just ignore me and let me die when my time is up, instead of pushing me into the casket!?!?! I dislike something and i get it everyday. Imagine it, if im ALLERGIC to something, i'll get it 24-7!!! Not that im allergy-free, i do actually have my own allergies, except it's not dietary in nature, and my parents dont even know it (and yes, those are my supposed parents. Kinda wish i was picked up from the dumpster). So maybe one day they'll kill me w/o ever knowing it. Ok, so it isnt really that serious an allergy, but you think as parents they'd know. My physical being is extremely sensitive to certain compounds and my "biological" parents dont know about THEM. This is a hell of a joke. So yes, kill me by exposing me to my allergies please.

Going to go cook myself and hopefully die. Cya if im still alive.

My BMI (lol)
I went for the Singhealth Fabulous Over 40 forum for women yesterday as a volunteer and it was quite ok, i would say. The most memorable part definitely has to be the BMI machines there. Heh, weiling and i actually tried it... and my results?
Weight : 44.2kg (with clothes, did you know that your t-shirt weights an approximate 250grams? thats according to the machine)
Height: 1.54m (it's official!! i'm 1.54m not 1.53m!!)
BMI: 18.64
Healthy weight range : 43.9 to somewhere around 54-55kg heh

After the forum, i caught The Pacifier at the theatres *before the price hike heh*. It was pretty funny, lol, but also heartwarming (has a bit of the 'awwwww' factor). Well at least it was comical enough that the cinema's audience laughed (you know it's bad when no one laughs heh). I wont insert any spoilers here just in case anyone is intending to watch it.

I'm bored, someone entertain me, pretty please?

Bands For GP!!
Week 3 of this term is ALMOST over, almost coz we still have another day to go. Sigh, Parents-Tutor Dialogue on the 22nd of April, but as usual, i am NOT expecting any of my parents to attend (they've never been to one, since P1, so yea, the track record is there lol). In fact, i dont even see the need to let them have a look at the school's letter but since i do need to submit the freaking form back to the school, they will have a chance to merely look (and of course, sign on) the form.

The school's GP Dept is gonna re-introduce banding. And apparently, i got put into Band 1 with almost half of the entire class. o.O You mean my class is THAT GOOD in GP? Or maybe i could look at it from another point of view, that my GP, along with half of my class is bad enough to warrant putting all of us into Band 1 lol. *shrugs*

Can't wait to start on Science and Tech for GP, we're gonna plunge into genetics first for that topic =) Yay. Hahaha, ok so i am a bit of a science freak, shoot me for that =P

Tomorrow's the last day of the week, then i've got duty for the SGH forum on saturday from 9am to 3pm (ouch, 6 hours, that'll be LONG). Still gotta plan for the school's sports day duty, then calculate (i mean REcalculate) CIP hours, study maths (?????), do my homework and slack (VERY IMPT!!!) So yes, it is going to be a very long weekend for me, anyone wanna extend it to 3-4 days for me? That'll do just fine with me *smirks*

Sigh, ran out of things to say (AGAIN). gonna stop now. Cheerios

Tourette's Syndrome Takes Over!!!
Haha, this post is going to be another of my extremely nonsensical posts that i do ever so often.

Anyone wondering the inspiration behind the title? Well, it really is something minor but pretty comical. For the past week or so, i've been surrounded by people who say really funny things, myself included. Here are some examples of what i encountered (to protect the guilty, no one shall be named):

  • ...how many runs did you round?
  • ..has a shirt at the back of her hole (ok this one, i admit, that was ME, roflol)
  • the type of leaders mistakes make
Heh *chuckles*

Ok, onto other stuff, had chem organic chem test today and i did horrible i think. I got one part of the qn correct and i thought i got it wrong (when i didnt) and proceeded to CHANGE my ans. So now, it is WRONG. o.O I piss myself off too often

Had 2 consecutive days of PE. Circuit training yesterday (havent had that since my Red Cross days) and now im aching all over. My back and shoulders are extremely sore, my legs are undoubtedly sore and my right leg is cramping up on me at inappropriate times for the whole of today (ouch). So excuse me while i lament about my temporary handicap. Lol, just kidding

Anyhow, CSI is on tv now. It's the new season (season 4, tho we are at least one season behind the US) so cya!

One Minute
Before i say anything else, i guess it would be right to pay a small tribute to the recently departed Pope John Paul II

So let us have a minute of silence for the pontiff (as well as Terri Schiavo, the woman who was in a PVS for 15 years who also died recently) *or imagine one since we are after all, online*

Now that that's done, let's carry on, shall we?

Today was ANOTHER boring day, equally as unproductive as the day before it. I did 3 and a half pages of my bio tutorial, will start on my chem soon and then study. My first aid duty is still half planned, i am pissed off right now and will not hesistate to kill if i am pushed over the edge. Lol.

Ok, now that i've said my piece, i think i shall go back to my work until i get pissed off again (by the work and myself)

Sleepy...For the entire FREAKIN' day
Haha, my body has refused to wake up for the entire day. I've been feeling sleepy from the moment i woke up. Strange, i guess it's one of those days where you just feel so beat. I didnt even do anything particularly tiring yesterday

My homework hasnt moved... gotta finish bio, math and chem today and that's just the very least. Still got econs ws and the freaking chem test on tuesday to study for. On top of that, i have a whole week of first aid duty to plan for. Life doesnt seem to slow down haha. FAU.. dont let me down AGAIN, what do i mean? You will let me down, as usual. Lol, you people never seem to amaze me how lazy you can be.

Ok... i shouldnt talk for too long then, gotta run off soon (homework calls!!!) Cinema ticket prices to rise as of May 1, 2005. This is definitely a non-collusive oligopoly, considering that CEFA refuses to call itself a CARTEL (you guys just dont wanna be in the same league as OPEC, dont you?). So yea, wait till i find out who the dominant firm or barometric firm is..grrr....At least Cathy isnt going to increase its prices (for now), so everyone, steer clear of Eng Wah, GV and Shaw as of next month!! We'll teach them a lesson (and maybe in the process, Singapore can cease to be the country where its people watches the MOST movies in a year lol)

Name:
Location: Singapore, Singapore, Singapore

I'm a 3rd year student in what is probably the largest autonomous university in Singapore majoring in a Science-related subject (well it sorta IS SCIENCE). I'm known to be introverted, sarcastic (at times), funny when I rant (which isn't a good thing lol) and somewhat of a loner. I miss LA and would move there in a heartbeat :(
